Paride Iaretti
Paride Iaretti and Company estate finds roots in Gattinara, on the edge of the village overlooking the River Sesia. The 4.5 hectares of vineyards develop on the hills that slope towards the town. The mountain Monte Rosa is the backdrop to this splendid terroir, which enchants those who come here, driven by the curiosity to understand and know the ‘Alto Piemonte’ (Upper Piedmont). Their vine plots almost exclusively welcome a single vine, Nebbiolo.
Care of the vineyards and vinification are entrusted to the care of the founding partner Paride Iaretti. Some of their vineyards are still cultivated manually because the impervious nature of the soil and the narrow s planting system do not allow the passage of mechanical means. Dry and green pruning and selection of bunches in late spring require time, patience and dedication. The manual activities in the vineyard follow the passage of the seasons, oriented to obtain the quality that will then be transfered to the wine.
The estate was founded at the beginning of the new millennium by Paride Iaretti, and then, starting from 2015, new shareholders joined, bearers of very different professional experiences. In 2016 the construction of the new cellar was completed, located on the edge of the forest, just outside the urban nucleus of Gattinara. The goal of the company is to create a structure dedicated to efficiency, where daily activities converged towards the search for an increasingly refined quality.
