Review
A refreshing whiff of mint and crushed stone gives way to wild berries and violets as the 2017 Negroamaro blossoms in the glass. It’s silky and pliant in feel, with a wave of ripe black fruits lifted by brisk acids. Sweet tannins build toward the close. This finishes lightly structured and medium-long, as a hint of tobacco lingers.

Review
The 2020 Negramaro Rosso opens with mentholated freshness, plum sauce and mocha notes. It envelopes the palate with juicy, textural red and black fruits and savory, exotic spices. A twang of sour citrus spices up balsamic and earth tones as the 2020 finishes potent yet unexpectedly fresh. This goes down far too easily.

Review
There's a minty freshness that wafts up from the 2020 Primitivo as it evolves in the glass, revealing aromas of black cherry, dried roses and hints of oregano. It's soft and fleshy in feel, nicely contrasted by zesty acids, tart woodland berries and a salty minerality that mounts toward the close. Sour red fruits and a twang of citrus linger long through the spicy, mouthwatering finale. Masserie Pizari packed a ton of zesty Primitivo character into their 2020 vintage release.
