	Köfererhof	Sylvaner “R” Alto Adige Valle Isarco	WA - Wine Advocate	92 Points	2021	04/2024 Review The 2021 Alto Adige Valle Isarco Sylvaner R has a reductive initial approach with ripe peach, canned fruit and lots of pear that comes in strong waves at different points. Fruit is selected from 30-year-old vines, and with time in the glass, the wine reveals sweet almond paste, hydrocarbons and ripe pineapple. Some 4,000 bottles were made. Köfererhof presents the best Pinot Grigios tasted in this report, and no, you will hardly recognize the grape when dressed up in such sophisticated and unexpected clothing.

Concentrated and saline on the palate with a tangy minerality that is akin to crushed oyster shells. Mealy and long at the end. Serious and delicious now.
