A blend of sweet pear and nectarine with hints of fresh vanilla bean rises up from the 2020 Frascati Borgo del Cedro. It's silky and pliant in feel, and also pleasantly ripe in style. Orchard fruits and minerals are energized by vibrant acidity, taking on an almost honeyed persona toward the close. Melon mixes with kiwi and finally gives way to a twang of bitter citrus as the Borgo del Cedro tapers off to freshness. This is a fruit-forward yet nicely balanced blend of Malvasia del Lazio, Malvasia di Candia and Trebbiano.

Review
Pale straw. Bright aromas of white pomaceous fruit, field flowers and hay. Precise, dense and juicy, with a lovely saline touch to the stone fruit and herbal flavors. Finishes long with repeating saline nuances. Approachable and easygoing, this is a noteworthy Frascati showcasing just how good wines from this denomination could be, in the hands of the right producers. A great buy for the price.
