Review
The 2019 Aleatico Pergola Vernaculum pulls you close with its mix of bright cherry, peppery spice, cinnamon, clove and rosy florals. It soothes with silky textures, coming across as pliant and round, yet energized by vibrant acids, which also work to enliven its wild berry fruits. Pretty violet and lavender tones linger over a flourish of salty minerality as this tapers off with a delicate touch. Very nice.

Review
The 2020 Aleatico Pergola Vernaculum boasts a remarkably pretty, fruit-forward and pleasantly sweet display, mixing violets and lavender with raspberries and cherries. It's fleshy and round in feel, with ripe red and blue fruits energized by juicy acidity, as saline-minerals slowly saturate toward the close. While the 2020 is quite extroverted in character, it [never becomes tiring or cloying, finishing classically dry and with only a subtle hint of framing tannins. There's no need to wait here; this is packed full of balanced pleasure. In fact, you may want to even consider giving it a slight chill.

Review
The 2021 Pergola Aleatico Vernaculum blossoms in the glass and with a vivid burst of freshly opened blackberry preserves, violet florals and sweet smoke. It's soft-textured yet juicy to the core, with tart, wild berry fruits and a touch of sour citrus that adds lovely tension toward the close. The 2021 finishes with a salty-savory flourish, as hints of black currant and lavender fade. While this vintage of Vernaculum is a bit more immediate than usual, it's also expertly balanced and geared for a long and open drinking window.

Review
Deep ruby. On the delicate, aromatic nose, notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and quinine lift the red cherry, blueberry and underbrush aromas. Flavors similar to the aromas are ripe and fleshy and leave a luscious mouthfeel. A delicate spiciness is neatly extended on the long back end thanks to vibrant but harmonious acidity. Best Vernaculum ever, even if the oaky presence diminishes its aromatic power somewhat. Well done.
