Review
The 2016 Azzero, Edoardo Sderci's 100% Sangiovese done with no SO2, is fabulous. Rich, pliant and forward in its expression of fruit, the 2016 will be nearly impossible to resist upon release. A rush of red cherry and plum fruit builds into the voluptuous, racy finish. Fermentation and aging in steel keeps the flavors bright in this very pretty, nuanced Sangiovese.

Review
The 2017 Azzero, Edoardo Sderci's is 100% Sangiovese fermented and aged with no SO2Plump and juicy, but with terrific underlying minerality, the 2017 hits all the right spots. The balance of fruit, acidity and structure is just superb. All of the qualities that make the Monti district in Gaiole so appealing come through beautifuly.

Review
The 2018 Azzero Edoardo Sderci is rich, pliant and explosive, with fabulous young Sangiovese intensity and tons of vinous richness. Dark cherry, plum, lavender and spice are pushed forward in this utterly delicious, inviting pure Sangiovese from Il Palazzino. This is such a gorgeous, pure wine.

Review
The 2021 Azzero, 100% Sangiovese done with no SO2, is fabulous. There's tremendous intensity and raciness to the Sangiovese fruit. I am not sure how the 2021 will age because of the lack of SO2, but it is exquisitely delicious today, and well worth your time.

Review
The 2022 Azzero, 100% Sangiovese, offers tremendous fruit intensity. A bit rough around the eds, this red from Monti in Chianti is still very raw but with tremendous fruit presence. Blood orange and red fruit frame the impressive depth and concentration in this dense, full-bodied wine. I would prefer to drink it on the younger side, giving it a good amount of air prior to service.

Fresh and perfumed, showing aromas of violets, plums and strawberries. It’s medium-bodied and juicy, with soft tannins and bright acidity. Very drinkable. Drink now. Screw cap.
