Review
Aromatic notes of cherry blossom and a skein of ground spice wind through this zesty, medium- to full-bodied red. Fresh and pleasing up front, offering herb-laced flavors of crushed blackberry and black cherry fruit, but more subtle on the clean-cut, lightly chewy finish. Drink now through 2024

Review
Deep, moderately saturated ruby. Very floral, pure aromas of dark cherry, sandalwood, sweet herbs and tar on the captivating nose. Then very long and also very pure in the mouth, showcasing magical fruit/acid/tannin balance. Finishes long and seamless, offering smooth, concentrated violet, plum, blackberry, dark cherry, and Oriental spice nuances. A magical Taurasi, one of the best I have ever tried at a similar stage of development from Ferrara. Well done.

Review
Enticing notes of spice box, bay leaf and tea rose accent flavors of ripe black cherry and baked fig on the palate of this elegant, finely knit red. It's medium- to full-bodied, with supple tannins emerging on the fresh, minerally finish. Best from 2023 through 2030. 100 cases made, 50 cases imported.

Review
High quality Taurasi, make no mistake.Macerated cherry liqueur, licorice root and spruce. A sappy, punchy nose with no dearth of extract across the mid-palate. From there, things tighten up. A ferrous riff of molten rockmelds with tobacco-doused tannins, gristly and drying in a savory, rather than obtuse, fashion. Some mocha oak, but not intrusive. A lilt of volatility, too, subsumed by the bolshy finish. Bury this. Drinkable now, but best from 2026.

Review
The darkly alluring 2017 Taurasi Vigna Quattro Confini lifts from the glass with a gorgeous blend of sugar-dusted blackberries, sweet sage and autumnal spice. This is silky, nearly creamy in feel, coasting across the palate with pure elegance as tart wild betty fruits slowly saturate. There's an opulence here, yet it's perfectly managed by zesty acidity. The 2017 finished structured and incredibly long with a trace of licorice that never seems to quit. The ripe vintage and well-integrated oak combination makes the Taurasi Vigna Quattro Confini a total pleasure bomb.

Review
A burst of licorice and mint reveals sour cherry and smokey plum aromas as the 2018 Taurasi Vigna Quattro Confini unfolds. It washes across the palate with silky textures and polished red and black fruits as sweet spice and violet inner florals form toward the close. This finishes only lightly structured and a bit shorter than anticipated. Mocha nuances linger. The 2018 shows the open-knit and early accessibility of the vintage while maintaining admirable complexity.
