Tangy acidity and a zesty thread enliven this juicy, light- to medium-bodied white, which offers a broad array of yellow peach, pineapple and mandarin orange flavors, with a stony, herb-tinged finish. Drink now through 2022

Bright yellow. Aromas and flavors of lemon, pear, guava and clove show a touch of balsamic oils. Juice and intense, displaying a firm, lightly tannic structure and a bright minerality, not to mention a long, refined finish. Much more classically dry and less sweet than the 2016 Greco Terra d’Uva by Caggiano.

Bright full yellow. Orange zest, white flowers and minerals animate the fruity nose. Juicy, deep and pure, showing strong mineral accents to the stone fruit and mango flavors. Bright mineral-driven acidity gives the wine a fine-grained texture. The finish is long and ripe, but very refined. Knockout Greco.

Review
This wine is a beauty, and it's one of the stars among this year's white wine new releases from Campania. The 2017 Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna hits all possible nails on all possible heads. This hot and dry vintage has shaped a lively quality of fruit that is bright and opulent with plenty of primary purity. Stone fruit, honey, yellow rose and crushed stone make for a seamless succession of aromas. This is a lean to mid-weight wine that impresses in terms of length and finish. Make no mistake, the wine is not made to be complex or sophisticated, but it achieves a happy state of simplicity nonetheless. The vines are up to 60 years old and planted in clay limestone soils mixed with veins of volcanic sulfur.

There’s a slightly sweet tinge to the nose, but this is a nimble white that harmoniously delivers plenty of pineapple and fresh nectarines. Full-bodied and nicely phenolic with good depth of stone fruit and an undertone of spices. Drink now.

Luminous straw-green. Inviting, lovely lemon-lime and white flower notes on the nose. Then very serious and almost austere in the mouth, displaying a stony personality to the orchard and tropical fruit flavors. Remarkably Fiano-like on the long, smooth, mineral finish – in fact, it “out-Fianos” Ferrara’s Fiano Sequenzha this year! A lovely wine that is still youthful and will likely develop well.

Review
A smokey bouquet of dusty dried flowers, crushed stone, ginger and dried apricot wafts up from the 2019 Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna. Its ripe orchard fruits and savory inner spices coast along a glycerol wave, riding a core of mineral-tinged acidity. Hints of lime contrast sweet melon, along with a salty flourish that lingers through the mouthwatering finale.

Review
This is a very nice white with those glossy, latex tones that I enjoy so much. The 2019 Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna from Benito Ferrara is bright, citrusy and well maintained. There is lots of energy and salty mineral in here for sure, along with notes of peach and orchard fruit. (It's also worth noting that my sample bottle, at least, had some entrapped CO2.) Some 24,000 bottles were made. This is a terrific wine as far as Greco goes.

Review
The 2021 Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna (with 26,000 bottles made) opens to a golden straw color with orchard fruit aromas that give the wine a softly textured personality and good length. Those primary tones of apricot and peach are framed by delicate hints of honey, wild sage and crushed stone. Gabriella Ferrara and her family have purchased an additional 11 hectares of vines to make a new rosé wine. They are also working to enlarge the existing winery.

Review
The 2021 Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna entices with a blend of crushed rocks and dusty florals that give way to freshly sliced nectarine. This is round upon entry yet quickly gains in zesty tension. A Salty flourish and brisk acidity pepper the senses. The 2021 finishes with medium length, leaving a citrusy concentration as Granny Smith apple hints slowly fade.

Review
The 2022 Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna is wickedly fresh. A burst of lime zest, dried apricot and crushed rocks forms its bouquet. This stimulates the senses with zesty acidity and salty mineral tones. Citrus- tinged orchard fruits create a crunchy sensation toward the close. The Vigna Cicogna finishes long and with a youthful tension, leaving a saline ting lingering as young peach tones gradually dissipate.

Review
This historic estate is located in the town of Tufo and consistently offers an excellent interpretation of the white-wine appellation that bears the town's name. Opening to medium golden saturation, the Benito Ferrara 2022 Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna delivers good intensity with a pronounced mineral side that is contrasted against sweet peach and apple. Those flavors are neatly capped by fresh acidity on the close. Winemaking sees stainless steel only, and 26,000 bottles were made.
