Full-on black-cherry nose that is really bright in spite of the ripe vintage. A great balance of fruit and slightly sappy tannins. The finish is very clean. Drink or hold.

Review
The 2016 Dogliani Vigne in Pianezzo is done in a somewhat linear style for Boschis that emphasizes persistence and energy more than overt fruit. Bright red cherry, mint and floral notes give the 2016 its distinctive high- toned personality.

Review
The 2020 Dogliani Pianezzo is bright, racy and full of energy. Blood orange, mint, red cherry, pomegranate and crushed rocks lend striking vibrancy. In 2020, the Pianezzo is especially fine. I very much like the freshness here.

Review
The 2021 Dogliani Pianezzo is bright, punchy and full of character. Ripe red-fleshed fruit intermingled with spice and floral notes meld together in this vibrant, juicy Dogliani from Boschis. The Pianezzo is not the most complex wine in this range, but it is certainly among the most delicious.

Review
Ripe and red-fruited with notes of blood orange, rose petals and red spices. Juicy and tangy with vivid acidity, savory character and fine, sandy tannins. Bright finish. Drink now.
