Review
Exquisite nose of ripe berries, notes of hot ash and even Sicilian capers. Full-bodied and silky with a dense, fruity core and well-integrated tannins. An excellent, flamboyant Barolo that’s almost ready to go, but will only gain from further cellaring. Enjoy from 2023.

Review
The 2016 Barolo Riserva is terrific. Bright and perfumed, with striking transparency, the 2016 captures all of the finesse of this great La Morra site. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, mint and licorice fill out the layers nicely. This is such a classic expression of Rocche and La Morra.

Review
There’s very bright and attractive edge to the nose with fine, rose-like perfume and a wealth of light strawberries and red cherries, as well as dark chocolate. The palate has a smooth array of supple and lithe tannins that carry a wealth of reserved but intense fruit flavor. Drink or hold.

Review
Really floral with sweet, seductive fruit in the nose. Full-bodied with firm, velvety tannins, lots of gorgeous fruit and a long finish. This shows plenty of structure and depth. Try after 2024.
