Review
Vivid straw-yellow. Lovely perfume of gooseberry, sweet spice, herbs and pepper. Sappy and juicy yet seamless, offering nectarine and spice flavors and a whiff of white flowers and candied lime. Finishes long with a savory quality and minty mineral nuances accompanied by a fresh Riesling-like element.

Review
The 2018 Colpaola Verdicchio di Matelica is a bit grassy and herbal at first, with even a hint of diesel. Nevertheless, it blossoms to reveal a mix of lemon-infused ripe peach and crushed stone. Round textures are complemented by ripe stone fruits, while also offset by stimulating acids and minerals, with a clean and refreshing finale. This is an incredibly juicy yet balanced Verdicchio.

Review
In a screw-cap bottle, the organic Colpaola 2021 Verdicchio di Matelica offers pretty density and fleshy fruit fiber with green apple, kiwi and unripe peach. The wine shows a luminous straw-gold color with a very focused and chiseled mouthfeel.

Review
Colpaola was kind enough to send this back vintage to underline the aging potential of this grape. From a hot and dry growing season, the 2017 Verdicchio di Matelica is an incredible wine with white fruit tones, pencil shaving, petroleum and latex. This wine is finely textured in terms of mouthfeel and dense.

Review
Sliced pears, guava and hints of dried mangoes with dried flowers and notes of honey. Medium- to full-bodied, waxy and concentrated with a rich, tropical fruit character and a textured, slightly phenolic finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap.
