Aquila del Torre is located in Savorgnano del Torre inside the Friuli Colli Orientali appellation. The estate is 18 hectares of terraced vineyards surrounded by the woodlands and developed on the so-called flysch soil. They are part of the FIVI association, the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers, producing wine the artisanal way.
The wines are organic certified since vintage 2013 and biodynamic preparations were introduced in the vineyards. Biodynamic farming has followed the Alex Podolinsky guidelines since 2016. The natural and sustainable approach involves not just the vineyards, but also the cellar managing, especially fermenting with indigenous yeast and long aging on the fine lees before bottling.
Always committed to the production of wines that respect the environment in which they work and live, they truly believe in comparison with new cultures whose exchange is habitual. A team with different but complementary, close-knit characters, makes Aquila del Torre a company with a family quality and perfectly integrated with the mechanisms of evolution of the global market.
