Lots of sweet wild strawberries to this Valpolicella as well as some lighter floral elements such as dried rose petals. Glazed cherries, too. Medium to full body, round tannins and a fresh finish. Drink now.

Review
The 2018 Valpolicella Classico Superiore Pavajò pulls you close to the glass with a beguiling display that mixes crushed blackberries with blood orange, smoke and a hint of animal musk. It’s silky in texture and quite savory, as tart wild berry fruits and salty minerals coast along a core of vibrant acidity. Dark inner florals and a hint of sour citrus linger through the long and wonderfully fresh finale. This is packed full of energy, and it will find a very happy place at your dinner table.

Review
Spicy, ripe red berries and dried flowers on the nose, following through to a medium-bodied palate with plenty of oak spices, velvety tannins and a vanilla-tinged fruit finish. There’s a lot of oak here, but it’s integrated enough not to upset the balance and flow. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
