Review
The 2019 Barbera d'Alba is laced with crushed red berries, mint, spice and rose petal. Aromatic and light on its feet, Moccagatta's 2019 Barbera is all class. I would prefer to drink it young, while the flavors are vibrant.

Review
The 2020 Barbera d'Alba is gorgeous. Ripe red plum, mocha, spice, leather and tobacco flesh out in a supple, juicy Barbera that will drink well right out of the gate. The 2020 is irresistibly delicious. It spent four months in neutral oak, a relatively short period of aging that works well for this wine.

Review
The 2016 Barbera d'Alba is another attractive entry-level offering from Moccagatta. Dark, fleshy and voluptuous, the 2016 will drink well upon release. Aging in neutral oak adds texture, but without dominating the wine's balance.

Review
The 2022 Barbera d'Alba is packed with ripe dark cherry/plum, mocha, spice and a touch of French oak. Readers who enjoy racy, extroverted Barbera's will find considerable pleasure here.
