Review
A tight, focused Barolo with strawberry, cherry, chocolate and citrus character. It’s full-bodied with a pretty center palate and density. A little shy now, but will open nicely with age. Drink after 2023.

Review
Cherry and strawberry fruit lead off, with iron, underbrush and tea notes in supporting roles. It quickly firms up, the lively acidity working in tandem with the dusty tannins. All the parts are there, with elements of the fruit returning on the long finish. Best from 2023 through 2042. 250 cases made, 100 cases imported.

Review
The 2017 Barolo Turne is beguiling, complex and full of intrigue. Rose petal, orange peel, spice, mint, licorice and dried flowers lend tons of aromatic charm. The 2017 should offers 10-12 years of fine drinking.

Some red-berry and red-plum character on the nose with added oak spice on the medium-bodied palate. Very light this year. Easygoing, to drink now.

Review
Floral and strawberry aromas and flavors highlight this elegant red. Firm, dusty tannins emerge as this works to a vibrant finish. Tar, tobacco and mineral elements lend complexity, while lively acidity drives the length. Best from 2023 through 2039.

Review
A fresh and bright nose with a wealth of wild strawberries and wild red cherries. The palate has a succulent array of fine, juicy tannins that carry tart red-cherry flavor. Beautifully precise, chalky tannins. Power with elegance. Try from 2022.

Aromas of violet, red-skinned berry and underbrush lead the way. The structured palate offers red plum, raspberry jam, licorice and white pepper alongside firm refined tannins. Drink 2020–2027.

Review
The 2015 Barolo Turnè is done with extended maceration and aged in cask, which gives the wines exotic, perfumed aromatics and tons of personality. Sweet red cherry, raspberry, mint, blood orange and star anise all lift from the glass. Translucent and super- expressive, the Turnè is another stellar wine in this range. Stylistically, the Turnè is a bit ethereal, but it is also impeccable, not to mention very beautiful.

Review
The 2016 Barolo Turnè offers an attractive combination of bold, rich and powerful sweet tobacco, cedar, dried herbs, menthol, licorice and spice all build in a beautifully layered, expressive Barolo loaded with dimension and complexity. The 2016 is a wonderfully deep and nuanced wine made very much in the mid-weight style of the year.

Review
Plums and orange blossom on the nose follow through to a medium body with very well-integrated tannins and a fresh and velvety finish, Not the biggest wine but a beauty to taste. Better in three to four years.
