Aromas of plums, dark cherries, olives, dark chocolate, violets and some wild herbs. It's full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Textured palate with dark cherries. Elegant and flavorful. Drink or hold.

Review
The Casa di Terra 2019 Bolgheri Superiore Maronea is all Cabernet Sauvignon (with 5,000 bottles made) that exhibits a dark and savory personality. Blackberry and plum cedes to oral notes of dried rose and iris. With long aging in barrique, the wine shows big structure and some bitter astringency that needs more time to iron itself out. There is a smoky licorice savor at the very end.

Intense aromas of currants and crushed berries. Licorice and lavender. Full bodied with extremely well crafted and fine tannins that last for a long time. Hints of hazelnuts at the end. Gorgeous. Drink in 2022, but already a joy to taste.

Review
Aromas of dark berries and meat with some fresh mushrooms and fresh basil. Full-bodied with round, ripe tannins that are pretty and soft yet compact. Needs time to come together. A blend of cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. Better after 2022.

Review
A pure expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2016 Bolgheri Superiore Maronea is a full-bodied Tuscan red with elongated and intense aromas of black fruit, spice, leather and tilled earth. The wine is voluptuous and generous yet also contained by a firm tannic frame. The wine ages in oak for 18 months, of which only 10% are new barrels. The results are beautiful and balanced.

A multidimensional wine showing dried red fruit, potpourri, earthiness and subtle oak spices. Wonderful body with bramble fruit and persistent finish.

Sweet spices, currants, quince and fennel with a hint of coffee. Fullbodied on the palate with firm, dusty tannins and a juicy and flavorful finish. Full of plums and currants. Give it two years to let it integrate more. Try in 2025.
