Amaro Rizza

The recipe for this delicious amaro was prepared by Nicola Centonze together with the pharmacist from Favignana (a beautiful island in the Egadi archipelago opposite the city of Trapani) who knows the plants of the island well. This Amaro is produced with 12 herbs harvested in Favignana and with milk thistle honey from Favignana and Marettimo (another beautiful island of the Egadi Islands). The herbs are: Aloe Vera, Myrtle, Mint, Chamomile, Rue, Centaurea, Thyme, Rosemary, Absinthe, Nepitella, Fennel and Caper. Production process: infusion of the herbs in water and alcohol for 15 days, separation of the herbs from the liquid and subsequent sweetening with honey. Bottling. The alcohol content is 30% vol.
