Benito Ferrara’s Campania Rosato is full of character and expresses the elegance of the Aglianico grape in its rosé version. The freshly harvested grapes are placed in a cold room for 24-36 hours. The pressing is done on the whole berry, from which only the free-run must is removed, which helps avoid excessive coloration of the wine.
Notes of cherry, raspberry, and violets emerge on the nose while on the palate the results are soft and harmonious. With its pleasant freshness, it pairs perfectly with any fish-based plate, and is also very enjoyable with cold cuts, fresh cheeses to first courses of pasta or rice.
