Blasfemo, which translates to Blasphemous, is a rare, one-of-a-kind wine. The Petit Manseng grapes, which arrived in Castellina in Chianti from the Pyrenees mountains, give life to this amber-colored wine with an unmistakable personality. Léo and Marie Christine met where this grape variety has its roots, and they wanted to bring a piece of that land with them when they chose San Donatino as their home.
Maturation on the skins for 10 days in stainless steel vats ensures the typical aromaticity of the Petit Manseng is enhanced, while keeping the tannins at bay. The result is an excellent dry wine, with aromas of green tea, honey, sage, grapefruit, and hints of white peach.
