The word ‘Foho’, in the Tuscan dialect, means fire. This is how the Casa al Vento hills were described in the past, hot and structured just “like fire”. For this wine, the estate selects the grapes from a single vineyard, precisely named Foho. 100% Sangiovese, bright ruby red in the glass, with a dry, warm, great tannic texture full of ripe red fruit, prune and cherry, with spicy and balsamic floral notes.
