Produced only on the best vintages, this wine is the result of patient and meticulous craftsmanship that leaves nothing to chance. Made from Nebbiolo grapes, the Barolo Bricco San Pietro Riserva undergoes a long aging process, with 32 months spent in tonneaux followed by an additional two and a half years of bottle aging before release. This extended maturation period imparts a complexity and depth unique to its kind. In the glass, the Barolo Bricco San Pietro presents itself with an intense color, akin to ink, hinting at the richness and concentration that characterize its taste profile. On the nose, intense aromas of toasting, dark chocolate powder, sour cherry, and black fruits are accompanied by spicy and floral notes that add further complexity to the aromatic bouquet. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and enveloping, with a rich and firm tannin that completely wraps the palate. The structure is imposing, with a sensation of fullness and roundness that lingers into the long, satisfying, dark, and spicy finish.
