The Impronte is the Bolgheri Superiore born from the Piastraia vineyard, demonstrating complexity, severity, and a great propensity to challenge time. Impronte appreciates the oxygen given by the decanter or a glass with a wide bowl, and is a wine that requires attention, concentration, and a spirit of waiting. The aromas play a lot on the spicy spectrum of cumin, black pepper, sweet tobacco, and dark chocolate, as well as providing a very pleasant frame of small macerated black fruits. The high, noble, and powerful tannin caresses the palate and brings with it all the dark, savory, and toasty parts already discovered on the nose. The finish is fresh thanks to an acidity managed in a masterful way.
