Bolgheri Superiore Sant’Uberto
Sant'Uberto is not only the name of the locality where the company is located but also the name of the label of Bolgheri Superiore with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot (50-35-15%). The theme of separate vinifications for each variety in concrete is renewed, 14 months aging in barrels and one year in bottle before release on the market. The result is a glass of great presence and self-esteem, it is a wine clearly with its chin up highly expressive all focused on dark spicy details, tones of smokiness, soot, and macerated fruit. The sip releases a high, smooth, and refined tannin and always maintains punctuality and severity avoiding overflowing softness or disconnection.
