The Friulano (previously known ad Tocai), obtained from three west-facing parcels, represents the most traditional trademark for the white wines of the region. The winemaking process involves each of the three parcels being worked and aged separately: one portion is vinified and aged in steel tanks, another in concrete vats, and the last in older oak barrels. Using exclusively indigenous yeasts and with a long aging period of 8-10 months on the fine lees, the wine benefits from a delicate batonnage process. The choice to avoid malolactic fermentation is aimed at preserving the exceptional freshness and liveliness of the finished product. The sensory profile of the Friulano presents a fresh and linear personality, characterized by a clear verticality that traverses the palate with determination. The wine stands out for its sharpness and precision, offering notes of fresh fruit, aromatic herbs, and pleasant minerality. Its well-defined structure, balanced between acidity and softness, provides a fresh and lively sip.
