A Giuseppe is the wine that represents ‘Le Origini dal 1919’ the most, mostly because it bears Alberto. & Cristina’s father’s name, who was very proud and had a great bond to the Lambrusco di Sorbara refermented in bottle. It comes from their vineyard in Soliera, from the oldest vines that have been planted before 1956 and that are the closest to the Secchia riverside where the soil is ‘looser’ and sandier. It is not a coincidence that in this vineyard there are over 1500 meters of rows of Fortana vines, a kind of plant which is very well suited to sandy soils.
