The Pignatuni district vineyard is the maximum expression of the Etna terroir. Very old sapling vines grown on ancient lava, dating back to the period of activity of the ‘Ellittico’ volcano. Made from Nerello Mascalese and other native black and white grapes, the wine has an intense, deep ruby red color. The nose is rich and complex, with spicy and balsamic notes. A powerful, balanced taste, with elegant tannin and finish.
