This wine is produced from a vineyard owned by the Statella family in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, on the northern side of the Etna volcano. The unique pedoclimatic conditions of this vineyard allow this wine to express the visceral bond with this land. Deep ruby red with garnet hints when young, a complex nose with notes of red fruits and Mediterranean scrub, and a balanced taste with dense, velvety tannins ending with a pleasantly persistent finish.
