Island of Pantelleria: “2004 was a rainy year. The quality of the grapes is good, but yields were low as the grapes had to be selected berry by berry. The vineyards nearer to the sea were harvested first (15t h of August), while the other vineyards, in the interior part of the island, were harvested later.
