Poderi Fiorini
The name has a double meaning: Nebbia ( meaning ‘fog’ due to its turbid appearance), Felsinea which is the ancient name of the city of Bologna.
Pignoletto is the typical white wine of Bologna and Poderi Fiorini’s estate is right on the border of the two production areas of Lambrusco and Pignoletto. Nebbia Felsinea is produced with and ancestral method, non-classical one, with a second refermentation in the bottle, no disgorging, no ‘liquer de tirage’ and no residual sugar. the wine is usually bottled in March.
