Neri’s Etna Rosso Borrigliona 211 is an intense, elegant and structured red wine, produced in the Borrigliona district, on volcanic soils at an altitude of 750 meters.
This wine is composed primarily of Nerello Mascalese ( 95%) and other native white and red grape varieties from vineyards over 90 years old, aged for 14 months in second-use French oak barrels.
Ruby red in color, it presents an intense and complex bouquet, characterized by notes of sweet spices and Mediterranean scrub.
On the palate, it is balanced, tannic and with a great length. It pairs perfectly with meat entrees (also spiced), meat-based second courses, game and aged cheeses.
