Majere, from the Latin ‘major‘ (superior), is the name of the vineyard where the grapes used to create this wine are grown, just above an ancient Roman road. It is a very old vine that originates from wild vineyards. La Cadalora is one of only 2 producers in the world grow the ‘Casetta’ variety. It is a wine that ages well and expresses itself over time, even after 15 years.
