Barolo Castelletto (formerly Barolo) comes from the youngest part of the vineyard, and beginning with the 2018 vintage, the name now better identifies the geographical area of origin. Once called crus, the official wording is now Menzione Geografica Aggiuntiva, meaning additional geographic mention. It is aged in oak barrels to satisfy the most “classic” palates. Fine and elegant with a garnet red color, with a floral and balsamic bouquet. In the mouth the tannins are gentle and balanced.
