Barbaresco Basarin

Basarin is a geographical mention of the Neive’s hills, characterized by a limestone-marl soil rich in sand.  The vineyard is located at an altitude of 250-280 meters above sea level. With its southern exposure, the soil is typical of the sandy Sant’Agata fossil marls from the early Tortonian era, where the richness of sand veins results in elegant and balanced wines from which balsamic and spicy notes emerge. Harvesting is done manually, and the bunches are placed in 20 kg crates to preserve the quality at their best.
